About this Gallery More Found Art
These images of mutability and organic processes are naturally occuring homages to some of my favorite painters, including Mark Rothko and Agnes Martin. I admire the colors, textures and shapes that oxidation-prone materials create in cooperation with air, water, and time. These examples are from the side of a shack in Louisiana, west of New Orleans, and the side of a rusting crane on Tudor Wharf in Boston Harbor.
